If reports are to be believed, Leeds could be announcing as many as six deals this week.
Liam McCarron, Jack Harrison and Ben White have already signed, but they could very soon be followed by Rafa Mujica, Helder Costa and the return of Jack Clarke on loan.
Victor Orta has clearly been very busy this summer, and this flurry of activity should prove once and for all that Leeds fans should place more trust in their director of football.
Lack of patience
Before the first-team had even reported back to training lots of Leeds fans were moaning about the lack of transfer activity.
Orta has often been the subject of complaints from the fanbase, despite the fact that he has very rarely steered them wrong.
The Spaniard was key in bringing Marcelo Bielsa to the club, and he has earned the Argentine’s trust with his work in the transfer market.
Orta deserves credit
It goes to show how much work has been going on behind the scenes at Elland Road as the first week of July could see six new arrivals.
Indeed, it was important for Leeds to get deals done quickly this summer, and the Spaniard is on track to do just that.
He has listened to the manager as he is looking at signing multiple wingers, after Bielsa reportedly highlighted that as an area that needed strengthening.
The fanbase’s previous complaints about a lack of movement were seemingly unfounded as in the background Orta was preparing to bring in a plethora of new players.

It’s time for some supporters to look beyond their bias and give Orta the credit he deserves for making these deals happen.
