The 21-year-old thrives in a box-to-box midfield role and playing alongside Lucas Torreira in the Arsenal engine room would only further enhance his abilities. The youngster has the potential to become one the world’s best midfielders and could be as influential to Arsenal as Yaya Toure was to Manchester City.
Prising him from France could prove to be costly – but for a player of Ndombele’s quality – Arsenal must cough up whatever is necessary.
