da casino: As reported by The Guardian, Liverpool will have to wait until after the World Cup in Russia on a potential deal for Roma goalkeeper Alisson.
What’s the story?
da jogodeouro: As heartbreaking as Loris Karius’ errors were for the goalkeeper in the UEFA Champions League final, the Reds now have to deal with the reality that the number one at Anfield may not be a long-term option at the highest level.
One option, according to The Guardian, is a £79m deal for Roma stand-out Alisson, who is set to head to the upcoming tournament in Russia with Brazil.
The paper say that while the Reds haven’t made an official approach for the 25-year-old, they are in touch with the Italian club about his availability.

Would Alisson be a good signing?
Having signed Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson in the last two transfer windows, brought Trent Alexander-Arnold through into the first team and revitalised the form of Dejan Lovren, Jurgen Klopp is beginning to get things right defensively at Anfield.
The missing piece of the puzzle though is undoubtedly the goalkeeping position and there aren’t many more highly-rated playing in Europe now than Alisson. The reported £79m fee may seem steep, but if it brings solidity to the Reds’ defensive line then it could be the best money that the Anfield side spend for years.
An excellent shot-stopper, the Brazilian has the character and confidence to make the number one spot his own on Merseyside, making horror shows like Karius’ performance in the recent final a thing of the past.
That sounds like money worth spending.
