da jogodeouro: By all accounts, Liam Cooper is a humble and kind human being,Âbut everyone makes mistakes sometimes.Unfortunately, the centre-back had a lapse in judgement against Fulham last month as he rushed a ball boy into doing his job by using some foul language to demand the ball back after it had gone out of play.Watch Leeds United Videos With StreamFootball.tv Below
Luckily, it seems as if Cooper has seen the error of his ways as he’s posted an apology on Twitter and sent the child a few football-related gifts in order to right the wrongs of what happened at Craven Cottage.
Cooper’s ability to hold his hands up and admit when he’s wrong is commendable, but we do have to question what shirt he’s sent him as we’re not sure a young Fulham ball boy would appreciate a Leeds United jersey.
Hopefully all is forgiven and this is an issue that can be put to bed sooner rather than later as it seems very out of character for Cooper to do such a thing.
The good thing, however, is that he’s apologised so publically.
In other news, Phil Hay has urged Marcelo Bielsa to make one change at Leeds.
