da betsson: Fans of Glasgow Rangers have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which confirmed the bans of Rangers midfielder, Glen Kamara, and Slavia Prague defender, Ondrej Kudela, imposed by UEFA.
da winzada777: Following an incident in Rangers’ Europa League round of 16 tie with Slavia Prague back in March, in which Kudela was accused by Kamara of using racist language, UEFA confirmed on Tuesday that both the Kudela and Kamara have received bans for their part in the events.
UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body found Kudela guilty of racially abusing Kamara and handed the 34-year-old a ten-game ban, while Kamara was given a three-game suspension after being found to have assaulted Kudela in the tunnel following the game.
However, after Clyde 1 Superscoreboard relayed the news on Twitter, fans of Rangers flocked to have their say on the matter. Many are furious about the length of Kudela’s ban, suggesting that if UEFA believe a ten-game suspension is justice then they are sorely mistaken, while others questioned why Kamara has been sanctioned at all for fighting against something so despicable.
This is not the first piece of UEFA-related news to upset Gers fans today either, with the Ibrox faithful shocked by the four-game ban handed to Kemar Roofe.
So, what exactly did these Rangers fans have to say in reaction to the news of Ondrej Kudela and Glen Kamara’s bans?
“So much for no to racism, eh? How are we supposed to kick racism out if the consequences of being racist are as pathetic as that?”

“Shocking decision. It should be a 6-month ban minimum for Kudela. They have handed Kamara a ban for absolutely nothing. No proof he hit any other player. Absolutely scandalous by UEFA. Will he still be allowed to play for his Country at Hampden at the Euros?”
@khadden35
“The ban on Kamara is appalling!”
@CarrieCummings4
“Shocking that Kamara is banned at all!”
@skoosh1
“Pathetic.”
@54timeskings72
“Gets banned for being racially abused.”
