da betobet： Newcastle United fans have once again called for Elias Sorensen to be handed his first-team debut after the striker was named the Player of the Tournament as Newcastle Under-23 side won the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens.
The Magpies beat Rangers to retain the trophy and Sorensen made a strong impression once again.
A number of Newcastle fans wanted the striker to be named on the bench against Fulham on the final weekend of the 2018-19 Premier League season.
That ultimately did not happen, but a whole load of the club’s supporters are keen for the 19-year-old to be involved with the first team next season.
Sorensen scored 20 times in all competitions during the 2018-19 campaign – including 12 in the Premier League 2.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for the teenager, but there is no question that the fans have high hopes for him due to his impressive record at Under-23 level.
